Carport Roof
We took Thursday and Friday off work to put the roof on the carport. The pressure was on as a massive storm was forecast for Saturday. Thursday was largely spent finishing the carpentry and painting the structure. The gutters went on Friday morning and we started sheeting the roof at about 10 am. The finishing touches were added late Friday afternoon and a cleansing ale was well earned. The storm hit early Saturday morning with strong winds heavy rain and occasional hail and I am pleased to say the carport is still standing.

Carport
A massive 3 days starting on Friday the 13th saw the carport paving laid and a large part of the timber framing completed. There is still plenty of work to do before the finished product is unveiled, but it's a pretty good start. The muscles are aching so I know we have worked hard.
